Charles T. Capute Joins MDSW Bolstering Estates and Trusts Practice

McAllister, DeTar, Showalter & Walker LLC (MDSW) is pleased to announce that Charles (Charlie) T. Capute has joined the firm as of counsel, effective immediately. Charlie is one of Maryland’s preeminent estates and trusts attorneys and has enjoyed a lengthy career advising clients throughout the region.

Charlie has focused his career on working collaboratively with businesses and individuals to develop comprehensive, tax-efficient estate and succession plans. He has a thriving  estates and trust administration practice, which MDSW and Charlie expect to grow and support.

Charlie served as trust counsel to Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh before moving to Easton and becoming a partner at Miles & Stockbridge. He has had his own practice, with concentration in estate and trust planning and administration, since 2002. He has been actively involved with many regional non-profits, including the Easton Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Salisbury University Foundation, the Academy Art Museum and the Gunston School, and served as chair of each of those organizations. He currently sits on the board of University of Maryland Shore Regional Health.
