The law firm of McAllister, DeTar, Showalter & Walker LLC announces its expansion into Annapolis, Maryland and recent election of members.

Easton, Maryland-based McAllister, DeTar, Showalter & Walker (“MDSW”), with offices in Easton, Cambridge and Ocean City, recently announced that it entered into a lease for new office space at 706 Giddings Avenue in West Annapolis and welcomed two new lawyers with established Annapolis roots. Morgan Foster joined MDSW as a Member and Steven Brown joined the firm as a Senior Associate. Morgan focuses on family law with a concentration in divorce, division of property, alimony, custody, visitation and child support. Steven focuses his practice on employment, business and civil litigation.

“When we started the firm, our focus was to serve our clients from the Bay to the Beach”, said firm co-founder William (Sandy) McAllister. “As we’ve grown, we have been fortunate that both our clients and MDSW continue to expand in geographic scope. As a result, Annapolis became a natural extension for us.  Toward that end, adding Morgan Foster was a logical and seamless opportunity given her deep roots on the Shore and her specialized practice. Steven Brown is also a great fit, as an experienced and very capable litigator with a strong reputation in Annapolis. We look forward to growing our presence in the Annapolis market with these two fine lawyers.”  With the addition of Morgan Foster and Steven Brown, MDSW has grown to a fourteen-lawyer firm with offices in Talbot, Anne Arundel, Dorchester and Worcester Counties (www.mdswlaw.com).

In addition, MDSW announced the promotion of Adam M. Lynn as a Member. Adam has been employed by MDSW since its inception in 2016. Adam’s practice focuses on representing financial institutions, businesses and individuals with needs in real estate, transactional, general corporate and commercial litigation matters. Adam regularly represents local, regional and national financial institutions in all aspects of commercial financing transactions, collection matters, troubled debt restructuring and workouts.
